upgrading kernel


How do i upgrade my kernel for the nvidia install ive dled it but just need to install it where do i put it and how do i do this. Also on a sepreate note it seems that my dsl is runnin half speed is there a reason for that??

Uh... I'm not sure why you need to upgrade your kernel to install the nVidia drivers? There is a FAQ at the top of this Forum for installing the drivers, read that.

If your DSL modem is running half speed, there could be many reasons for that. Try turning it off then back on again, that usually works for some reason
