upgrading KDE


i have redhat 9 KDE 3.1-10,

i wish to have 3.2 or a stable 3.3, but i am a complete novice, could someone help

Well there is a program out there for you. Its called Konstruct. This will download and install all the packages for you. But be prepared to wait. Installing KDE is a long process it will take a few hours at least. You could try RPMs, there are some for RedHat 9.
