upgraded to SUSE 9.1 -> some fonts (e.g. accented) do not appear right
Hello,
I suspect this problem must have come up before, but I couldn't find an answer so far. I have recently upgraded from Linux SUSE 9.0 to 9.1, and everything works just fine, except that some fonts do not appear right, accented letters to be more precise, even in Konsole. Anyone have an idea on what I can do? Thank you in advance |
if you are using KDE, you could try changing the font in the control center.
|
I tried some changes by using alternative fornts, but the problem still remains. Accents are not displayed properly
|
in that case my only guess would be that the upgrade does not have the same character sets as the older one. although I wouldn't know how to check, or update them.
