Upgraded to 9.04 and now wireless not working

Wireless using WPAPSK was working before the upgrade to 9.04. Went to network and tried to configure the wireless link, but KDE wallet said it had wrong password, couldn't fix this but followed a suggestion to disabled the wallet. I was then able to configure the WPA PSK. But now I can't find how to get the link to activate. It is just there with comment "never used" Any ideas?
