Upgrade Suse 8.0 to 8.1

I am trying to upgrade a full purchased version of SuSe 8.0 to version 8.1. Does anyone know of a place where there are complete instuctions on doing this or how to do it? I have looked all day and have found nothing on how to upgrade, just install. I really just need to know what iso to download and what to do once i get booted from it. Any help would be more than apreciated.

I upgraded a 8.0 (ftp) version to 8.1 (purchased "update" version).

It'll appear just like a regular installation.

For upgrading from ftp, use this
http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/81_ftp_update.html
which only says to boot with "suse_update" option.

Basically, when installing, after 10 minutes or so, it'll ask you something like "upgrade existing linux" from either the ftp install or the purchased install. Just answer yes.

Also, for your reference, you can purchase the "upgrade" version from linuxcentral.com or from SuSE only I've found.

Also, upgrading is a popular topic in alt.os.linux.suse
You could search it in groups.google.com for more info.

If all else fails, you can contact SuSE support if you registered your version of SuSE.
