Question Upgrade Kubuntu


This is probably a stupid questions, but how do i upgrade to kubuntu 8.04 hardy with kde 4.0?

I currently have Gutsy with kde 3.5

You backup your /home folder if it isn't on a separate partition, then you make a clean install of 8.04. The reason for the clean install is that there are usually significant changes from one major version to another (probably applies to the majority of distros). Trying to upgrade rather than make a clean install may leave fragments lying about which result in unexpected behavior which is a real bear to track down and correct.
