Updating Ubuntu and CentO/S
Hi..All,
There are few servers in which Ubuntu 9.04, 10.10(software RAID and LVM), 11.04, Cent O/S 5.5(software RAID) Operating systems are installed and running few services such as SVN, CVS, GIT, Apache, Bugzilla, etc. I would like to keep every operating systems with up to date. So could you guys please show how can I keep O/S, Kernel and softwares up to date ? And after updating O/S, kernel and other softwares, does it not affect any bad things to the existing services i.e CVS, GIT, SVN, Apache, Bugzilla, mdadm and lvm packages? I request you all to clear these doubts. |
