Updating KDE to 3.5.2
 
I realize there's already a topic on this, but this method is way different. The KDE team made a thing called "Konstruct" found here that automatically downloads and installs KDE 3.5.2 from a makefile. So really, all you have to do is cd to konstruct/meta/kde and make install.

why dont you use your package manager to upgrade kde ?

Mine only comes up with KDE 3.4 and 3.3 stuff...

why not load and install the new version and uninstall and delete the old version?

Cause I'm a noob and I'm used to just one GUI. I'll do that.
