Updates

I have a guest machine with Fedora 12. This is for school. However, when I turn on the guest, it shows I have 750 or so updates. I go to update only security, and it will not let me. It gives me the error, "could not add package update for celt-0.7.0-1.fc12(i686)fedora: celt-0.7.0-1.fc12.i686" I am not sure why. Could someone let me know why? Thanks! (the abrt files I think)
