Updated kernel and system has been locking up
 

I am using a Dell Poweredge 2550 dual PIII 1.4 gig server with 1 gig of RAM. I have Redhat 7.3 installed and have updated to the latest kernel which is kernel-smp-2.4.18-27.7.x. I would like to revert back to an earlier kernel that was more stable but don't know how to do so. Also being a newbie to linux i have uninstalled all the older kernels that were on my system. So which kernel is most stable for 7.3 and how do i end up going back to it. Please let me know if you need any more info bout my system in order to help me out.

I'd recommend you ask that in the Linux-General or
Linux-Distributions forum ...

Things like that are pretty much distro-specific.
