Smile update suse

hello all

well just to let you guys know about my wi-fi thingy it turns out that my laptop model doesn't have wi-fi maybe just bluetooth

anyway i just installed suse 9.3 last night it's really nice, the newer kernel version did seem to enable many features on my laptop, but i want to update my kernel to the newest version and my kde to the newest version too but i don't know how to

current versions:
kernel: 2.6.11.4
kde: 3.4.0 Level "b"

i downloaded all the kde 3.4.2 rpms and put them in a directory called 'kdeupdt' on my desktop and then i went to yast and changed the installation directory to that directory and disabled the cd one but then i don't know what to do after that

and to update the kernel i did it once long time ago but i forgot how i did it or which link did i click on kernel.org

thank you all
