update question


there are so many updates availiable from Red Hat, i am wondering is it nesccesary to update all of them, which would is hugh, or could i just update a few and leave the rest untouch?

Some of them are critical security updates so you definetly need those. Some of them are just newer versions of the software so they are not absolutely necessary. I'd suggest updating them all anyway. Its just worth it and if you keep on top of the updates after that it won't take long at all.
