My connection is a dial-up. When I want to make a update of my OS it stop before completing the update. Can a slow connection make a update?

I see you're running mandrake 10.1 There are about 600-700 megs of security, bug-fix, and plain old updates on mandrake 10.1 from a virgin install to present day, if you update everything!! On a dial-up, I'd recommend picking and choosing...

If you know someone with broadband, get them to download the updates for you, then just add a new local repo into yum and do the updates.
