Hi, Unlike Windows 7 which can automatically download any updates and allows you to, apparently, "Install at a later time", where it invariably starts installing the 39 updates on its own when you're trying to shut down your laptop and catch a bus to go home!!! :banghead:
Linux has quite a few different ways of updating your operating system both from a cli and GUI, dependent on the Linux distribution you have.

If you want to know what the Update Sequence is for your particular distribution, you need to let us know what it is.
