Unusual issue using LQ in firefox

Hi

All buttons on top of the message box are not clickable. I can't bold text, use code tags, set hyperlinks and etc. None of the buttons are working.

I am using pclinuxos with KDE 4.14.10 and firefox 40.0.3

However, LQ's message box is working fine in the google chrome browser.

Any ideas why firefox is not working well with LQ?

My first suggestion would be to test LQ in another browser (say, Konqueror) to see whether this is a Firefox issue or something larger?

Just tested Konqueror and LQ's message box is working in konqueror just fine. So far, LQ is working fine in Konqueror and the google chrome browser.

I have no clue why LQ isn't working well in firefox. Firefox is my main web browser of usage.

I did another test with firefox. I created another firefox profile. This time the LQ message box buttons are working.

In my default firefox profile I have several plugins like adblock plus, privacy badger, video downloadhelper and others. I think one or more of these plugins is affecting LQ's message box. In the new firefox profile, there are no plugins loaded and LQ is working fine in the new firefox profile.

I guess I have to hunt and peak each plugin in my default firefox profile and see which one is affecting LQ.

Probably noscript - blocking the cdn.

I would guess this also. I have to enable thequestinonsnetwork.org; cloudfare.com and netdna-ssl.com for full functionality on this site.

@ syg00 & 273

I don't have NuScript anymore, I removed that a while back. It could be privacy badger. It's similar to ghostery. You adjust the slider to red, yellow and green for each tracker.

I was correct. Privacy Badger is the culprit. I deactivated privacy badger for the LQ site and LQ is working fine now.
