Unsure about this particular SUDO config


Hello Members -

I have done some regular configs for SUDO access, and i came across something which i couldnt understand in /etc/sudoers file, which is mention in BOLD UNDERLINED as below

%qaadmin SBFMSVRQA = (qaadmin) ALL, (root) /bin/su - qaadmin

Please help me understand.

There is a man page for the sudoers file that has information for you to understand this.
http://linux.die.net/man/5/sudoers

This allows anyone in gaadmin group on host SBFMSVRQA to su to qaadmin with the gaadmin group running as the root user to prevent asking for a password.

So it allows anyone in the group to do a su - qaadmin without getting prompted for a password as its running as the root user.

Unless I am missing something if so please someone let me know .
