Unsupported platform

This one's bugging for quite some time now. I'm clueless on what is causing this. This dialogue box (see attachment) comes out everytime I go to: System>>Administration>>Network on my GNOME menu.
Anyone good enough to offer some explanation?

I get this too (as well as my colleague). I just had a look and there doesn't seem to be a bug reported so it may be worth doing this. Obviously you can choose your system but it is annoying!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I'm using Debian Lenny too.

Different distributions locate network configuration data in different files. Gnome network manager tries to detect your distribution to know how to store the configuration, but it fails or it doesn't know how your distribution stores the data.

It happened to me when I had a Debian 4.0 Unstable distribution... You may choose your distribution (if it exists) or a similar distribution. Or you can try a different network manager. I'm using wicd now.

Atleast, the comfort of knowing that I'm not alone.
