Sorry for the excessive delay in replying ~ I got frustrated with the crashes
History is I had Windows. With a virus I lost ALL. Local computer "nerd" talked me into LINUX/UBUNTU Firefox. THAT is ALL I know [I figured out that if i type my eamil in wrd processor, then copy to email, and send I usually can "Beat" out the crash and loss of all my typed material]. Obviously time consuming!!!!!!! Sooooooooo I'm trying again...
Please tell me how to identify more completely the "software" that I have installed?
How are you using mail in firefox? Is it webmail from your ISP, or what?
How are you copying? What word processor? If your mailer expects plain text, then it will certainly be upset by the special codes embedded in word processor output. Use an editor, kwrite, gedit or some such.
