unkown error


when i tried to install samba, i got this mock error, i thought to install mock it says not aviable. i have some problem related to yum also.. it never installs anything perfectly and i cant find my add/remove GUI tool also...

I use fedora 10 on vmware 6.5 as guest with host vista basic

this is the above error i get when i use rpm.
and also yum i always get some message related to livna, rpmfusion-free etc etc..

where does it say this is an error? I see "Warning" but no "Error". Why are you installing samba manually? Just install anything that's missing from official sources, i.e. formal repos in yum.

It means you saying that samba is installed.
but i cant find /etc/smb.conf and not also under system->administration.

I didn't say it was installed, I said that you should just install things via yum if possible, and not go to 3rd parties for rpms.

well i have updated my yum repositories.. thn installed yumex. with yumex i'm able to install samba etc . but I have not found any solution about add/remove progm. not yet, as yumex is update for intital setup. let see after completion of yumex task about the other problems.

I have update my system with yumex and installed samba. But still I have problem with add/remove programs and software updater in fedora 10, I cant find them.

what is this "add/remove program" problem??

i was unable to find add/remove programs in fedora 10. i have installed pirut , which solved the problem.
