Unix - Linux Migration

Hi All,
We are migration C application from unix solaris 5.10 to Linux.

We are using netconfig.h netdir.h & tiuser.h in our C code.

While compiling this code in linux i'm facing the error " No such file or directory".

For these header files which package i need to install? or all the details present in these header files present in some other header files.

Please help me!!!

Thanks,
Senthil

This might do better in the programming forum.

Packages having "devel" or "header" in their name may be of use.

I guess that you will have to rewrite the code to use "Linux headers".
I.e. netconfig.h, netdir.h, tiuser.h could be Solaris headers ?

And : netconfig.h, netdir.h, tiuser.h seem to be present in "openss7"

Hi knudfl,

Thanks for the info.

one more point. I compiled the same code 2 days before successfully. But now its throw this error.

So i suspect some packages may be uninstalled, which may have these header files, that causes the problem.

But i'm not sure which package got unistalled.

2.6.18-238.el5 : An old kernel ( 20 Dec 2010 ), Redhat EL5.
( Current update is : kernel-2.6.18-308.13.1.el5 , 08 Aug 2012 ).
Red Hat 4.1.2 : That's the gcc version.

Redhat EL5 uses yum. Please use the "yum repo".
http://www.openss7.org/repos_yum.html

Deciding the OS version : $ cat /etc/redhat-release
