Have you tried to contact the developers of these programs ?

why this software ? and have you consulted higher up as to why this software ( a professor ? or whomever? ) and asked for there help

and seeing as some ( the java part) is 3 years old - and never updated- it might need a 3 year old version of java or older ( like the 1.5 or 1.4 and not the current 1.6 )

Hello
again prob occurred

"The libjvm.so file seem to be missing, make sure JDK_HOME has been set properly"

I set
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk/jre/lib/i386/client
export JDK_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0

but problem is not going to fix. libjvm.so file is present in /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk/jre/lib/i386/client. how can i give the path to fix the problem?

thanks,
Summit

try installing the old java 1.5
1.6 might be too new for this old software
