Would you want to reformat the drive for a particular purpose? - are you thinking of installing Windows on to it?
|
yes. i want to format it so i can put windows on

With some bootable disk
boot into disk then fdisk |
Boot off the windows install CD, choose to install windows, and when it comes to partitioning time, erase all partitions and create one big windows partition.
The windows partition tool isn't easy to understand, but you can figure it out :) |
