Uninstalling Linux, Removing GRUB

Hi, as you can understand I am a newbie :) my question is "is there anyway to remove lilo/grub from my computer... fdisk /mbr didn't work? My OS is WinXP... Thanks a lot! :D

Boot your XP CD and go to rescue mode. I don't know exactly where it is in there, but it will recover the MBR.

That's almost correct...

Go to the windowsXP help and look up "recovery console" (you need your windows disks). There's a procedure to install it on your system (that's what I did, but I think you can run it off the CD as well). Then restart the computer and type the command:

fixmbr

Then cross your fingers. Good luck!
For the record, I only uninstalled linux there are hardware problems that I only want to deal with later. Plus it makes me feel more "in control".
