uninstalling


I f I load a linux distro onto my hardrive and decide I want to change
to another linux how easy is it to uninstall.
would dsl be a good starting point as a first timer,I want a fairly
easy system to experiment with,also I would like to run my skype
account is it easy to set up.
I use my old tiny laptop to run skype on windows xp and it works
fine so help would be welcome.

Select the exact same partitions of your present distro while installation. Linux will take care of the rest.

All you need to do is to direct your new distro to overwrite the hard disk. DSL or Puppy are great if you want a lightweight distro for an older laptop. Otherwise I'd suggest starting with something like Ubuntu.
