uninstall without a cd drive OR fix boot process

I'm running a dual boot windows/kubuntu (gutsy)

but every time I try to boot kubuntu, it says "error 15: file not found"

so, I tried to fix it using the installer cd, and my drive is fried....

I need to fix the startup process, or remove it entirely, and just use wubi to start over.

I guess getting a new drive is out of the question?

not enough cash for now.

I'm trying to fix it ASAP.

if it takes more than a month, than yes, I'll just get a new drive.
