uninstall rpm


hi, some newbie question:

I've installes yahoo messenger (bij RPM), how can I uninstall this program?

I think what you can do is use the softare installer software to remove rpms from your system. On my machine (Mandy) the command is rpmdrake and rpmdrake-remove. the software should detect your rpm when you search for it.

to remove the rpm type (as root)

rpm -e whatever.rpm
