Use fdisk?

There is no such thing as an uninstallation
procedure, just as there isn't for windows.

Cheers,
Tink

You can use your favorite partition management tool to delete your RH partitions.

Before you do this, you need to make sure you are not using RH's lilo or grub boot managers. If you are, then you should probably be asking a MSWin forum how to create an emergency boot floppy and how to rebuild your MSWin boot record.

Right, first of all why do you want to uninstall redhat?
if you're quitting why don't you ask for help with whatever the problem is?

Or you could be a student wanting to play a very nasty trick on your linux-using flatmate :p
If this is the case then you are going to get battered.

well, if you want to have some fun before doing the real work you can make sure all your other partition(s) are unmounted (type "df" and see what is there) and type "rm -rf /"
and then run partition magic and resize ur windoze partition, or run fdisk and make a new one.
And i think you can reinstall the windoze MBR with the recovery tool (you type "fdisk /mbr" i _think_)

Hello all,

I did this in the past. You can find some explanations (in french, soory for this) at this address.

Hope this will help.
Good luck

Vincent

ps: since then, I have reinstalled RedHat 9.0 and I am very happy with it.
