Uninstall of compiled software
I am starting to have a try at compiling software, just kde applications so far. I have had mixed success using checkinstall, about 75% of the things I have tried I have successfully worked.
Now im wanting to try the whole hog, configure, make and make install instead of configure, mae and checkinstall.
What I am wondering is though, how Would I uninstall an application that I have compiled and installed with make install. Would I need to make a note of the system files it instaled and there locations, then remove then by hand. Or is it possable to make a script to do this from me frokm the applications source code?
Thanks in advance
