Uninstall


I have several applications on my centOS. I would to remove some of my unuse apps. For example like the tcl.How can I unistall this program without.Please help

First check and make sure you really want to remove the package;

rpm -e tcl --allmatches --test

See anything you want to keep, if no do the next level of checking;

rpm -e tcl tcl-devel tclx expect tx dejagnu --allmatches --test

Repeat until the results come back clean, then you can remove the --test switch and remove the packages.

You can do the same thing with yum (or the GUI[s] to; Kyum and/or yumex) if installed.
