Unable too compile bochs-2.6
 
I was trying to compile bochs from the source.I did all of the compiling process using the site http://bochs.sourceforge.net/doc/doc...ng.html#AEN803 and then i got the following error message

Which OS are you using ? Name + version + architecture, please.

$ bochs
.. and "The seven options" should appear.
Option 7 : Quit.
Option 5 : Open the GUI.

I have made some corrections to the .bochsrc and when ever i run bochs all i get is only the following options

1. Restore factory default configuration
2. Read options from...
3. Edit options
4. Save options to...
5. Restore the Bochs state from...
6. Begin simulation
7. Quit now
there is no open the GUI option and when i choose option[6] it provides me the black screen with

Bochs x86 emulator,http://bochs.sourceforge.net/
labled on it.I want it to act as a virtual machine in which i could install other OS.
