Unable to update php on Centos 4

Hello,

I`m running Centos 4 and tried to update php to the last version (5.2.6, now is 4.4.8) but unable to update:

[root@server ~]# yum update php --enablerepo=centosplus
Setting up Upgrade Process
Setting up repositories
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Excluding Packages in global exclude list
Finished
Could not find update match for php
No Packages marked for Update/Obsoletion

What I should do to solve the problem?

Thanks.

Could not find update match for php
make sure that the version of your php is older than that from the repo, if an update is available (do it manually)
Then try
