Unable to understand the line

I am analyzing the configuration file. I am unable to understand the following lines.

logconfig=$_=`hostname`;$_=/.*65\s+/?'/prod':'/devl'; $_.= '/pcw/app/statement/perl/extractor/config/retail.image.logger.conf'

freqvalidater=1|2|3|4|5|6|7|9
stmttypevalidator=0|0[83]2|0[83]3|0[83]7
