Unable to umount partition

I've installed Debian Linux from the Knoppix Live CD on a HP Netserver LD Pro. The problem is : All my partition begin with /mnt/, so they're mounted and I can't write on that. I want to umount them to be able to modify or create a file but notting happen when I click on umount.

If you edit the fstab /etc/fstab and make the wrong partitions nonauto (see the cd entry) they should not mount anymore.
You can do this best with knoppix (cd version) start and then edit the file, but you could do this also as root.

Then you can edit the mountpoints in MNT or wherever they are and next the fstab.

you should make sure that ALL the directories in /mnt/
have the proper permissions!!!

What's with the sig? Perhaps a chill-pill would be tasty for breakfast :)
