unable to setup a dial-up connection in zenwalk 5.2


i'm unable to setup a bsnl netone connection..... i used pppoe
but pppoe status couldnt be turned on with start-pppoe... so plz hlp me out to fix this problem

Do you want to do a pppoe connection which is DSL or a dialup connection which is ppp or Point to point?
if PPP then:
Code:
 pppconfig
should get you started
Code:
ifconfig
should show the PPP0 interface details and show if it is "up" and if it is pulling an ip address on the "inet" line
