Lightbulb Unable to make YUM client

Hi Friends

I am new to Linux and to this forum as well . I just have a simple question .

I have RHEL 5 as my server and Red Hat 9.0 as the client . I configured my server as YUM , but cannot see "yum.repos.d" to make my client as YUM Client . Is there any RPM i have to install on client , so that it creates that file and then i can install packages using YUM after editing that file .

Please Help.

Ok, you do know that rpms built for RHEL5 will not run on RH9?

Yum was not used back in the RH9 days. So there is probably not a pre made rpm for it. Even if there was, where are you going to get the "new" RH9 rpms from?
