Do you get the same errors while trying to install using the commands?

rpm -ivh <package>.rpm? If you have not tried, please do and tell us.

Can you use this rpm -ivh <package>.rpm --nodeps and see if the errors still there?
You can also use yum to install the package. What is the package that you are trying to install by the way/

Code:
RepoError: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: fedora. Please verify its path and try again
That's the issue.

What do you get with this command?

Code:
grep baseurl /etc/yum.repos.d/*
