Unable to install Redhat 5.0 Compaw C40 series.

Laptop configuration Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB SATA HDD.

I am unable to install Redhat 5.
When tried to install it takes me to CLI mode by default & I was able to select Language, Keyboard & then it asks me to install Drivers. (I think it is looking for SATA drivers) it shows a list but the drivers listed are not working.

Can any one help me.....

Try a different Distro with a newer kernel. The kernels in RHEL are older (2.6.18 vs 2.6.26+), and do not support as much hardware.

RHEL and CentOS are for servers, not the latest Consumer hardware.

If you want a Redhat based distro look at the latest version of Fedora Linux.
