unable to install printer
Unable to install printer in CentOS 6.3. Message: "usb 3-2 device descriptor read/64, error 110"

There are also references to this on the Xerox web page, where there are drivers and firmware. http://www.support.xerox.com/support...age=en&x=9&y=9 You can also download the Windows driver for it, and extract the .PPD file. If you follow the CentOS printer setup guide for local printers, it should ask you where the device is connected. Are you able to select USB there? And if you have the .PPD file, you can specify it later in the printer setup. http://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/De...-printing.html There are also two USB ports on that device...the one in the back is for input, while the one on the front is for USB access to documents and for scanning. Which are you plugged in to? |
