I know the card should work b/c it's a laptop and it works just fine in Winblows Vista. From what i gathered there were no extra modules to load and everything should have been loaded properly. By configuring the card from the yast (which detected it) i get the same result as from doing nothing - it pretends like it sees a network, but in fact it has no connection with the network. LED on router still blinks at a set interval, LEd on the net card still off.
