I have a new Sager Notebook NP8660. Although this has integrated bluetooth the device does not show up at all. I have spent quite some time googling this but have not found a satisfactory solution or one that works for my hardware.

About me:
I am an old time windows user and recently decided to move to Linux. I consider myself an intermediate computer user being an old time c developer and currently a dot net developer and sysadmin by profession.

I am not sure what I am missing to get the Bluetooth device to a) show up and b) function. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a switch - Physical, associated with a function-key combination, or in the BIOS the turn bluetooth on?

Well, there was a duh moment. Easy fix!

Visibly there is no button on the laptop to indicate bluetooth. However going back to the USER MANUAL (which is the duh) I found that by pressing fn + F12 it activated the bluetooth device. I was able to configure and add devices to the bluetooth neighborhood. So all is good. Thanks!
