Unhappy Unable to connect to Wireless network

Hi,
I am have just installed Fedora 8. but i am not able to connect to my wireless network at my home. my network card can search my SSID but when i enter the key when prompted after few mins its again prompts the key.
The key i am using working fine with my XP.
I am using Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AG card.

Hi anujseth, What type of security are you using on you're wireless network and how are you entering your key?
Good luck. ;-)

Hi Anuj,

Can you elaborate more on this problem, I think it is a problem of wireless network than linux machine

Regards,

If i log using my XP then i am able to connect to wireless perfectly fine. I think the type of security Hub is using is WEP.

and when Network manager in F8 searched and ask me in WPA & Authentication is Open mode. could that be one of the possible reasons?

You'll need to know which security option, WEP or WPA, you're using at your AP/Router to configure things correctly.
Good luck. ;-)
