Red face Unable to boot due to GNOME Power Manager error


despite going to the command line by Pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 and entering my username and password, i am unable to solve the problem.please help how to get out this mess?.

No idea, since you don't provide ANY useful details. What version/distro of Linux are you using? What desktop environment? What leads you to believe that the Gnome power manager is giving you problems? Any log file information? Was this system EVER working correctly, and if so, what changed recently? You say you can't solve the problem...so how about telling us what you've done/tried TO solve it?
