Hi

The command to start gui is
Code:
startx
As I dont use RedHat I,m Not sure if a GUI is installed. Redhat is more of a sever install, client/ commandline only.

While installing RHEL6 you should choose 'Desktop' to get GUI.

If you want to start from new installation process, try this Red Hat 6 Installation Guide – RHEL 6 Install Screenshots

If you want to upgrade existing RHEL to GUI, try this http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...9/#post4916947 . its for centos, but same rule apply for rhel.
