Udisks + Udisks2

Why are there two versions of Udisks? They both have identical descriptions. Is it safe to remove one?
I can't get into the freedesktop.org site to read the udisks documentation.
sec_error_ocsp_unauthorized_request - Did I make an unauthorized request? What did I do wrong?
[Maybe that's why k3b can't find my SATA DVD drive?]

An error occurred during a connection to freedesktop.org. The OCSP server has refused this request as unauthorized. (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_unauthorized_request)

Hello
For the upstream developpers udisks is what you call udisks2, what you call udisks is the legacy udisks1 which is now deprecated. The latest release is udisks 2.1.3 .
k3b is a KDE appli, and KDE now uses latest udisks.
If you have no appli with udisks1 dependency, you must uninstall it.
As for the connexion to the site, it's another matter:
do you use this address http://udisks.freedesktop.org/docs/latest/ ?

Thank you for your help!
udisks-1.0.5-x86_64-1 and udisks2-2.1.3-x86_64-1 both live in slackware/a. They have identical .txt files. Curious, that.
Your URI works.

I can't get into freedesktop.org. Https://freedesktop.org yields something to the effect of:

An expensive scholarship-funded college education did not prepare me for understanding http://udisks.freedesktop.org/docs/latest/udisks.8.html

Some update hosed k3b's ability to find /dev/sr0, which was working earlier this year.
Thank you for clarifying the vestigial nature of udisks-1.0.5! Ripping it out; let the pedestrians fend for themselves as I toss it out the window. (Going to add it to my rsync.exclude.)

Pretty sure the Louvre is waterproof. Here's hoping all that rain didn't damage the prospects for a wine crop this year!
