udev extras


hi.. i'm new for ubuntu 9.10, my questiona is, how do get connected using dial up mobile , eventhough my setting is correct, still i can't get connected.. please your help!!!
from ubuntu 9.10 help described i have to install udev extras, but i can't find it anywhere..

Well, you don't give any details, like what kind of modem, how you set it up, what you're doing to try to get connected, and what error(s) you're getting.

Look into the wvdial and wvdialconf programs.
