If you want KDE on Ubuntu, run:

Well, then when I pressed the delete key on a folder, it should have asked me, right? It didn't ask! Seems there is a bug.

I knew you were commenting on that, but my reason for asking the OP to shift to Kubuntu was my inability to change the default file manager in Ubuntu and I thought you were asking him to install Kde since Konqueror is dependent on Kde, hence my above post.

But now I realize that after installing Kde he can "throw away" Gnome totally, I am a tube-light which needs a starter.
