Ubuntu pc date back to 2007
 

Windows-like accident (..?): Last Monday i found out all web security certificates were expired, or "not available yet". Then i found out that date had gone back to 2007. I corrected the error and everything returned to normality. What could have happened, please..??

If you are using the clock on the system board, and the battery is gone south, time can do wonky things.

When was the last time you changed the battery? ( The one that looks like a quarter ).

Generally a clock issue. Someone could have played with it or some other access or reboot designed to mask the attack.
