Ubuntu Netbook Remix : flash not working in firefox
I just can't get flash to work inside firefox on an Acer Aspire One with Ubuntu Netbook remix installed.
I have installed almost every flash / swf / codec from Synaptic. I have installed the .deb-file from the site of adobe flash (after solving some dependencies). Applications on facebook don't load and also on youtube the video-files don't start. The left-bottom-corner shows the status 'ready'.. |
try
Code:
$sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree sun-java6-jre sun-java6-fonts sun-java6-pluginno add-ons to block flash, like noscript ? |

Javascript is enabled, java is enabled. The tab "applications" shows that for an SWF-file Shockwave Flash is used inside Firefox. Changing this to swfdec-player does not change anything. Nothing has changed yet... EDit : and yes I have restarted firefox after every change I made |
Do you see java, when you type
Code:
about:plugins |

filename : libnpjp2.so and then a whole series of plugins... About Flash there is : Shockwave Flash (libswfdecmozilla.so) |
