Ubuntu Installation Problem
 

Hello Sir,
I installed ubuntu 11.04 alongside with windows 7in drive "D".After completion of installation it asked to restart the system.I tried to open ubuntu.but it couldnot open. It shows
Try(hd,0)NTFS5:Nowubildr
Try(hd,1)NTFS5 error:"prefix" is notset.
How to solve this problem.
Please tell me. I am knew to this OS.

Did you install Ubuntu directly to the hard drive from a CD or did you install Wubi (Wubi is the "Windows Ubuntu Installer" that allows you to install Ubuntu within Windows as if were a Windows program; it then presents a "choose Windows or Ubuntu" choice on boot up)?

I'm asking because you refer to "installing in drive D:\" in your post.
