It's the OTHER people who I'm mad at, for encouraging those people who--unlike you--aren't sorry at all.

Believe me, you won't miss my assistance. I'm just one guy out of thousands of helpful people here. Heck, you won't miss me AT ALL if you use Slackware, since I'm not familiar with Slackware. I'm just sticking to a principle. That's all--nothing personal.
who knows? maybe the person who was being rude will look back one day and say, "i was being a real jerk, and people still tried to help me. i'm really sorry now that i acted like such an idiot," and then contribute to the community in some way. he's been told he was out of line, maybe he learned his lesson.

i respect your sticking to principle, though. otoh, look how many people respond to a question asked in the right way:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=557483

so maybe he's on to something. maybe i should start putting "garbage" in my subject lines, too.

Well, to be excessively nitpicky, that post's subject line was very vague.

tekkid12052, I see a lot of frenzy is your posts but I do not see complete computer specs or if this is alongside Windows or a fresh install.

Each of the OP's threads has now degenerated into various forms of admonition.
I will recommend closure of ALL of them in the hopes that he/she will start anew with a different attitude

LOL @ This Thread.

Can the OP please stop SHOUTING FFS. Sort out the grammar of his posts. Stop posting irrelevant crap that has nothing to do with the subject (we dont care if you are sorry, you already labeled yourself a complete dumbass with the first post, we dont need to know you still are one), post the exact spec of his hardware, take his ritalin, and generally then be quiet.

Thanks.

When you have done that someone will try and answer your question. But stop SHOUTING, i have a hangover.

At Tekkid,

Why not try damn small linux, its a rather small download for one, two it should do most of what you need, oh and it fits on a cd, so you never have to install it. Following on from that. How about a copy of the new fedora 7 live cd, also kinda idiot proof for the most part, but wont be out for a couple of days.

Lets damn all Linux to hell since 1 out of 500 distros (not including versions) don't work for one user out of the 2.5 million users there are...
